A funding application for a study or research project should include the following points:

 

I. Data on the application and obligations

  1. Title & duration of the project
  2. Concise and easy to understand description (max. 1,500 characters)
  3. Individuals & institutions involved

 

II. Project description, approx. 10 pages

  1. Reference to the purpose of the HEAD-Genuit-Foundation
  2. State of research and own preliminary work; please describe briefly and concisely the current state of research with direct reference to your project. List your most important publications that are directly related to the proposed project and document your plans.
  3. Objectives; state the planned duration of the project and give a brief and concise description of your objectives. In addition, point out expected results that are significant from an external scientific perspective (e.g. for the environment, society, economy).
  4. Work program; describe in detail and step by step your planned procedure (work plan/work packages) during the application period (e.g. experimental plan, measurements). The work program should show exactly how much funding you are applying for, what the funds are needed for and how they will be used (cost plan and timetable). Describe the methods for carrying out the project that will be used or developed in your work program.

 

III. Funds requested

  1. Create a list of all items and justify the expenditure (e.g. personnel, material resources, travel expenses, publications, etc.).
