Professor Dr.-Ing. Klaus Genuit
Founder and Chairman of the Board of Management – Department of Psychoacoustics
In 1986, Professor Dr.-Ing. Klaus Genuit founded HEAD acoustics GmbH, one of the world´s leading companies in NVH-binaural signal processing and analysis, auralization of virtual environments and telecommunications-analysis and optimization of speech communication quality.
In 2008, the HEAD-Genuit Foundation was founded to use his passion for acoustics for the common good and to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life through Soundscape research.
He also has a strong interest in enabling chronic pain patients to live a better life through direct financial support and through research into pain therapy.
Professor Dr.-Ing. Klaus Genuit is a member of various acoustic societies, such as AES, ASA (Fellow), ASJ, SAE, DEGA and VDI, as well as an active member of working groups of the DIN and ISO for the standardization of measurement specifications in psychoacoustics.
Reinhard Scholz, Graduate Economist Vice-Chairman of the Board of Management – Department of Finance
Reinhard Scholz has a master’s degree in economics. After graduating in 1981, he worked for one of Germany’s major accounting firms. In 1983 he moved to UNIROYAL Englebert Reifen GmbH in Aachen, Germany. He worked for this company for eight years, and in recent years he worked as treasurer of the company. From 1992 to 2017, he worked as a managing director at HEAD acoustics GmbH. In addition to his other responsibilities, he was responsible for international business development. At the HEAD-Genuit Foundation, he is responsible for finance.
Professor Dr. Brigitte Schulte-Fortkamp

Among others, she is a leading member of the „ISO/TC 43/SC 1/WG 54 – Perceptual assessment of soundscape quality“ – ISO 12913-1-3.
Dr. med. Paul Wagner
Member of the Board of Directors – Department of Arachnopathy
Dr. Paul Wagner was born in Luxembourg and received his licence to practise medicine in 1980 after studying in Freiburg i.Br., Vienna, Paris and Edinburgh.
In addition to his qualification as a specialist in general medicine and a specialist in anesthesiology/intensive medicine, Dr. Wagner has further specializations. These include Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Neural Therapy, Chirotherapy, Transaction Analysis, Psychosomatic Primary Care, Osteopathy, Balneophysical Medicine and focus training in Interventional Pain Therapy.
In addition to his activity as a practicing pain therapist in the joint practice Pain Center Hochrhein, Bad Säckingen he is teaching Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and osteopathic medicine at the German Society for Osteopathic Medicine (DGOM).
